Assisted and Residential Living is the ideal level of care for seniors who:
- Require some daily assistance (Assisted Living Level 1), or
- Want a catered lifestyle in a safe and secure environment (Residential Living), or
Require assistance with four or more activities of daily living (Assisted Living Level 2), but who are not quite ready for long-term nursing care. |
Showalter Center
Our Assisted Living apartments (for those who need Assisted Living Level 1) and residential apartments at our Showalter Center offer residents spacious, full-size apartments and care provided by an outstanding staff.
The Showalter Center has studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments with full baths and kitchenettes. With professional nursing, dining services, housekeeping, and an activities program, our staff works together to create a home-like environment where residents can continue to thrive.
Showalter Center Features:
- Full-size apartments
- Full baths
- Kitchenettes
- On-site dining and activities
- Assistance with activities of daily living (optional)
- Assistance is available with bathing, grooming and taking medications 24 hours a day
- Dining room provides residents with three meals a day and snacks
- Meals, housekeeping and most nursing services as well as water, heat, and electricity are included in the monthly lease

| Kroontje Health Care Center
For residents needing Assisted Living Level 2, the Kroontje Health Care Center offers The Willows. The Willows is designed for residents who require more intensive assistance with activities of daily living, but who are not yet ready for long-term nursing care. We work in partnership with the family to develop a care plan and to coordinate services with the goal of helping the resident maintain as much independence as possible.
The Willows Features:
- Private, deluxe semi-private, and semi-private rooms
- Unfurnished rooms which enable residents to bring their own furniture and decorations to create a comfortable, personal living space
- Kitchenettes in every room with a small refrigerator and microwave
- Bathrooms with a private shower
